Pupil Premium
Pupil premium is additional funding paid to schools in respect of a specific group of pupils (pupils who have been registered for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years or are looked after by the local authority for more than six months). Pupil Premium is also paid to support service children.
Head Teachers and School Leaders decide how to use Pupil Premium funding and are held accountable for their decisions through
- Performance tables which show the performance of all pupils with a particular focus on this identified group
- Ofsted inspections
We use the funding as follows:
- To provide additional support for learning for specific individuals and groups of children
- To provide emotional and social support for specific individuals and groups of children
- To support and subsidise some costs for visits, after-school clubs and trips for specific individual children
The following documents provide more detailed information about how this money is spent and the impact it has on our school.
