Kelly Barge – Headteacher

Martin Holden – MAT appointed Governor – Date of Appointment May 2022 Term of Office ends May 2026

Martin Holden is a Property Management professional who lives locally and has spent portions of his career working in the Education sector. He is married to Natasha and together they have two young daughters, so are regulars in and around School events. He is keen to use his knowledge and relevant experience to support the school’s continued growth.

Jenny Dickinson – Parent Governor – Date of Appointment November 2022 Term of Office ends November 2026

Jenny lives locally and is a parent of two children one who attends the school and another who moved on to secondary. She has worked across a range of sectors including education, banking, hospitality and publishing and brings a broad range of skills and experience to her role.
She has a strong interest in education and is committed to supporting the school and its community. As both a parent and chair of Governors she is keen to contribute to the schools continued development and to help ensure a positive and supportive environment where all children can thrive.

Irena Andrews – MAT appointed Governor – Date of Appointment July 2023 Term of Office ends July 2027

Irena is a qualified solicitor who lives locally. Over the years she has developed a keen interest in the education system as a whole and, in particular, in Horsington School, which all 4 of her children attended. She is looking forward to supporting the school by bringing all her relevant skills and experience to her role as governor.

Keith Prescott - MAT appointed Governor - Date of Appointment March 2025 Term of Office ends March 2029

Keith is a retired Construction Procurement Professional of 40 +years experience. He is married to Amanda a retired teacher and moved to Wimborne in 2021.They have two children and two grand children one of which attends the school. Keith has been a school governor for 30 years and continues to be a governor of a single form entry Kent Primary School. Keith is keen to use his professional and governor experience to support the school in its continued improvement.

Christopher Drake - Parent Governor - Date of Appointment November 2025 Term of Office ends November 2029

Chris and his wife, Jo, live locally and have three children who attend the school. Chris is a Building Surveyor with experience in residential and commercial property, compliance, and project management. With a strong interest in education, he is keen to use his professional expertise to support and contribute to the school’s continued development in his role as a Governor.
