PTFA
Horsington School Parent, Teacher, Friends Association (PTFA)
The PTFA enables parents and teachers to work together for the benefit of the school. The PTFA has provided funding for a variety of equipment for the school, including goal posts, musical instruments, play structures and a safety surface.
We meet termly and have small committees who organise a variety of fund raising events including a Christmas Fayre, a Quiz night and a Summer Fete. When your child joins the school you automatically become a member and we would love to see you at the meetings. Don’t worry if you can’t make the meetings there will be other ways you can help out.
Ultimately the PTFA exists to facilitate relationships and to improve your child’s experience at the school. We think it is a vital part of the success of Horsington School and we look forward to meeting you.
The PTFA runs a 50:50 prize draw where 50% of the cash goes to the PTFA to be used for the
benefit of the school and the other 50% is given as a cash prize to one lucky winner. It is £1 a month for the year, so
that’s just £12 for the whole year and the more numbers you buy the more chance you have of winning!
Any parent, teacher or friend of the school can join (over the age of 18), so let’s get everyone involved!
